CIOC Controller is CIOC Energy’s in-house edge control hardware for connecting BESS, PV systems, meters and site equipment to the CIOC EMS, Monitoring and VPP platforms. It supports 4G/5G wireless communication, Ethernet and RS485 wired communication, with local data storage and edge processing capabilities. The controller enables remote BESS communication and control, OTA updates and real-time alarms. As part of the CIOC EMS hardware package, it provides the on-site foundation for data acquisition, device coordination, automated dispatch and market-based energy optimization.
